Dr. Katz
Dr. Katz developed the Three-Block Model of UDL in her classroom. Since that time, the work has grown exponentially, and an organization created to support and further the dissemination of the model.
She provides educational consulting services internationally to governments, teachers’ unions, and school districts to build capacity for inclusive education. This ranges from presenting professional development workshops, facilitating PLC’s, conducting lesson study (demo teaching and then debriefing), working in residence co-teaching with teachers and teams, and consulting to school boards, parent councils, and leadership teams. The model is being implemented in Australia, Spain, Algiers, the US, and Canada
(New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, BC, Yukon)
